Pros: Price. But when you buy cheap products from TigerDirect that doesn't work, you could have save yourself time, effort and headache trying to return a junk product to them since you yourself would have to get the manufacturer confirm that the product is defective.
Cons: Overall Service has deteriorated lately. It appears they are under pressure to dispose their old inventory from their American headquarters to the detriment of their Canadian customers. But when products turn out to be junk and very difficult to return, that defeats the price performance. I bought a Plextor DVD burner for $242.00 when I visited Ontario. It wreaked havoc on my computer and I have since put it aside.

Pros: I have been having great experiences with TD within the past 6 months, excellent deals, shipping on time even rebates have come on time. The Etobicoke store has provided great service lately and the manager even made a rebate refund in store this week for me.

Pros: Competitice prices and great selection.
Cons: Service is terrible. Never buy their extended warranty plans - it's been my experience that they do not honour them! Also, their rebates are a real nuisance. I was told that the original UPC code I had sent with mine was not in the envelope and I know it was, and of course, my photocopy wasn't good enough for them. Terrible service.

Pros: Lots of stock of what I need.
Cons: Bought myself a Seagate 300 gb Hard Drive(along with an external enclosure) from their store on Woodbine Ave.I use to go there reqularly to purchase what I need so I never bothered to look at the packaging.When I got home I noticed the seal on the Hard Drive Packaging was not there and there was no static guard holding the Hard Drive.Regardless I put together the Hard Drive enclosure kit.To make a long story short,the hard drive eventually failed.
So be very very cautious when purchasing from Tigerdirect ..Make sure the items you purchase don't look like returned/restocked items.If they are do not purchase!!!!

Cons: Prices are tied to rebates that I am unsure of getting. The history of rebates being paid is not very good with my experience of dealing with Tiger Direct ca. I have not received several rebates.

Pros: Fast delivery with $5.95 shipping offer Email communication was good and received well packaged order in three days. Sale prices on this order were fantastic and saved huge $$
Cons: No cons yet, will see how long the rebate refund takes although I have had no problems personally in the past other than hating the rebate process overall from any store.

Pros: Some good prices if they have it in stock. Having read about the hassles other people had ordering online, I only buy at the store. That way I minimize my problems. Store service is lethargic..........is that a pro??
Cons: TERRIBLE WITH REBATES. GOOGLE FOR ONREBATE.COM SHOWS THAT IT IS A SISTER COMPANY TO TIGERDIRECT.
Lots and lots and lots of delay getting rebate. Several phone calls and got told various things none of which panned out. Email took a long time to get a response. After nagging both the store manager and onrebate.com many times by phone and email, the rebate finally arrived. It was long overdue! 8-10 weeks was the claimed time -- that was close to how overdue it was! Any interesting side note: the check came from onrebate in Markham although I had to send everything to the US. Is it a coincidence that Tigerdirect is also in Markham? The tooth fairy says no.
NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING WITH A REBATE FROM THEM UNLESS YOU ENJOY NAGGING AND HASSLES!

Cons: Bought a Brother MFC5440CN which developed a problem while under warranty. Warranty service was refused as the serial number of the printer showed it was to be sold only in the U.S. Contacted Tiger who insisted I send it to them so they could send it for repair to the U.S. I refused and insisted they honour our sales agreement which was for a Canadian warranty. I fought with them for days, it took hours of my time. Finally when threatened with a complaint to the appropriate Provincial Ministtry and legal action, they at their discretion offered a refund which I accepted. As miserable as that experience was I thought that was the end of it, especially since I have ordered a few items since then. A few months ago I was asked to open a commercial account by a company I do business for. This was a cash account no credit was sought and this is normally a rubber stamped process as everything is paid for in advance. I was stalled, lied to and then finally told that I had been blacklisted. Utterly ridiculous since all any of the other principals had to do was establish the account themselves. It was inconvenient though and has to make you wonder at the mentality of the manager who acted with such incompetent vindictivness. A similar issue arose last week when a friend set up a new account then ordered a monitor drop shipped to my address. This was black listed as well appearing in his on line account as fraud! They were so rude to him he has opted not to do business with Tiger at all with a company that operates on vindictive whims and employees obnoxious customer service. With Tiger Direct you will never know if you have the warranty you paid for as part of your sales agreement until you put it to the test. It was soley Tiger Directs decision to refund the money for the printer, I never proposed that solution all I wanted was the warranty I paid for, or a reasonable equivalent. Tiger has descriminated against me for insisting on my legal rights. I will file a complaint with Consumer and Business Services. Let the buyer beware of this very dizzy Tiger.

Cons: ...my shopping experience at the Tiger They did not pay off on rebates.
Their cashiers made me feel like they were doing ME a favour by processing my purchase.
The floor help was hard to find, and then got waylaid by other shoppers when looking for the item I requested help on.

Cons: Bought the "CyberPower UPS 500VA/275 WATTS RECERTIFIED" (item C910-1007) - never got a tracking number. Check website it says "Status: Returned". No email / phone contact from Tiger. Called tiger and the unfriendly, uninterested, annoyed rep just says it's either out of stock or couldn't be delivered (not possible given i was always home). No apology from them for not deliverying what i ordered.
Good deals usually require rebates - and they don't always come back!!! Not to mention the stress of mailing and keeping track of them!
Sometimes they do have good deals without rebate (like the UPS above for $22). But what good is it if it doesn't come?

Cons: Well this time around they really piss me off. I ordered a Ultra X-Connect 500 Watt PS on tuesday, later that day in my order status it said that the order had ship and to check my email for a tracking number.
Well I waited and waited and it never came. I decided to email them, and finally recived a tracking number, then went to check my status with UPS and all it said was that my status was that they recivied my shipping info and to contact the tigerdirect for more info. So i contacted them and they just sent me the tracking number again. I read on a review here that just because it said that it was ship on the website it didnt mean that it had been pick up by UPS. Well this turned out right, and just a few hours ago when i check again my package status was on it way.
So i\\\'m starting to think that the 3-8 days for ground shipping isnt true.
So after this i do not think i will be buying from them again because of the crappy service.

Never did receive an email/tracking number when my order was shipped.When it did arrive one of the items was damaged. I had to call the 1-800 number 3 times(got cut off the first time) and waited on hold for a total of 35 minutes only to be greeted by a rude customer sevice agent which made getting an RMA for the order impossible.I\\\'ve dealt with them in the past but after this happening I\\\'ll never order from them again.There are plenty of other companies out there which strive for customer service.
Goodbye and Good Riddance!!!

Pros: Had good prices and decent service first week or two of .ca site.
Cons: Service is horrible. Will charge 15 % restocking fee even if the product is badly designed and they should not be selling it in first place.
No one at store knew how my rebate would work.
From now on I am never buying a product with rebate and will boycott all stores that have rebates instead of immediate discounts.

Cons: I would have given these jokers '0' stars if it was an option. They claim to have 'shipped' my product over a month ago, but UPS has not yet received the product. They could have walked it over to Mississauga faster than that.
And try to get in touch with anybody over there. Sure, they say call this 1-800 number. But if you don't have an extension, their automated phone system just hangs up.

Pros: Best price I found for a Radeon 9800 Pro in Canada (Visiontek Branded) and free shipping as well. Product shipped very quickly, and arrived within the timeframe promised, with no problems with the card at all.
Cons: Quite slow in providing a tracking number, website providing this doesn't work as it should. Also, I have no experience with the customer service so I can't comment on that.
Overall, considering all the horror stories I have heard with this vendor, I would have to give a very hesitant recommendation based on my experience.

Pros: I bought a MP3 player, CHD1000, which arrived with a bad LCD. I called TD about the problem. A few days later a new player arrived with a new charge on my credit card for only the cost and taxes, no shipping charge. I shipped the broken one back to them via post office, its the cheapest. When I got my visa bill, I found a credit for the broken unit including the original shipping charge, which was an unanticipated supprise.
My next 2 orders have arrive quickly, now I am just waiting to see if my rebates show up. And if not then I will just keep buying elsewhere
