Thanks Bigshark. So long as there are people like you out there appreciating beautiful fish I am inspired. But I am saving the best for you color morphed EBJD. Hate to promise what isn't there yet. But that's the stuff dreams are made of. Vince.

Getting a lot of PM wanting more details on color morphing fish so I put together another slide to go through the creation of the morphed fish. It is a little different from creating faded fish which is more like changing the swan back to the ugly duckling. Color morphing is adding color enhancement to the fish without changing the original like taking joe plumber and dressing him in a tux. Missed a few step in the process but ....you get the picture! Since I am obliged to mention the price, they will be $20 each for the fry when available.

Some may be wondering if there are limits to morphing or other practical use for this technology. I put together a small clip. to demonstrate some entertaining ideas. Please do not try this at home the process is irreversible. Best viewed in full screen mode. Vince.

It is a short 3 second video clip and if it does not play on your screen you need to download flash player or flash plugin for your browser. You could be experiencing technical difficulties.

Your slideshow really doesn't explain anything

Cognitive skills have nothing to do with it. You slide show explained nothing. Your post here, where you explain that you are achieving the colour morphing genetically was far more informative than Jack Dempsey+blue crap in the water=blue Dempsey.

I mean, if cooking shows were three seconds long, and just flashed between a pile of stewing beef, a guy clutching a wooden spoon, and a finished stew, you wouldn't learn anything about what was involved in the process would you?

One has to recognize the slide was a graphic representation of a process and I even added a side note to point to the reader steps were left out. But to pursue your point color morphing is being induced from chemically modified genes a case in point. GloFish But I am glad you found my follow-up explanation very informative and for expressing your disappointment over my substitution of the blue gene with the color blue. I would have showed the actual blue gene in my illustration but that would have further confused the reader because you wouldn't recognize a blue gene even if you saw one and for want of simplifying the concept I actually managed to confuse so many. My bad!!!
As for the cooking example you used. I admit it might come across as rather cryptic to some if they saw the picture of a goat and in the next instance curry and roti. It would take a quantum leap of imagination with all those steps missing in-between, the preparation, the cooking etc. But to most of us no explanation would be necessary because we would recognized the connection through our cognitive association. But here again according to you the illustration would be lost to many. My bad!!!
But thank you EdC for the interest shown after all this post is about drawing interest in color morphing and would be counter productive if it left so many confused. But sometimes the media is the message. Vince.

You are most welcome. I heard the interactive audio and video was the first on PN...now that's cool too and you won't believe this goats suffering from diarrhea can actually be treated with "pepto bismal".

Thanks pdipalma. You can see some red texas in the pictures above. I am working on the 2nd generation of red texas where I cross the red texas with other red texas. But what is getting some attention is my community tank populated with very aggressive fish all co-existing in harmony which is quite gratifying. Considering " All problem in existence are basically problems of harmony."
