With Shrek Forever After: The Final Chapter coming to theatres on May 21st... The new Shrek Glasses are arriving at McDonalds soon for $1.99 each plus tax with any food or beverage purchase.
At participating McDonald's restaurants in Canada, so Canadian Friendly  For a limited time only (They don't say when exactly this will happen, because it varies by province and city).
Quantities are limited and vary by design.
Offer available while supplies last.

As a precautionary measure, McD Canada has decided to do a voluntary recall of the four Shrek 4 glasses. More info to come.

I was in a McDonalds about 1pm on friday afternoon, when they posted the recall notice on all the doors and the front counter. The glasses were made in the USA (NJ) but were contaminated with Cadmium - a heavy metal usually found in batteries.
Oddly enough, they didn't take down the HUGE sign they use to market the glassware@ $1.99 each

Anyone that still has one of these, KEEP IT!!!!!
It is going to worth a lot of cash in a few years (if in good condition still), as people love their old rare McD's stuff.
