COUPONS

forum_645.gifGet out your save $8 coupons for the Febreze Flameless Luminaire Kits.  Starting tomorrow, Nov. 27, they are on sale at Zellers for 11.99.  The regular price is 17.99.  So if you have those coupons, pay only 3.99 for the kit.  I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere else.  Maybe after Christmas they might go on sale for less.  Who knows.

COUPONS

forum_629.gifOkay, this weekend, Nov. 28 and 29, are the Shoppers Drug Mart  Bonus Redemption Days.  Although this is not really about coupons, it is about saving money and getting free stuff, so I thought I would mention this.

40,000 points is worth $100 and 75,000 points is worth $200.  At least in Ontario.  I understand the redemption is lower out west.  I am not sure if there is a bonus redemption out west this weekend.

If you are a bit short of the 40,000 or 75,000 points, you might want to buy some items that you need to get those extra points.  Here are some ideas:

I read somewhere that the Hershey Christmas candy is on sale for $2.49 and if you buy four of these you will get 2000 bonus points.   These apparently are the Christmas Kisses, York Pepperment Patties and the Reese Bells.  I always buy Christmas candy so I will grab myself some of these.  They also will make nice stocking stuffers.

Also, here are some GlowPerks Optimum coupons that you can print up and use.

1000 bonus points when you purchase Secret Fresh Effects
2000 bonus points when you purchase Cover Girl Simply Ageless blush
5000 bonus optimum points when you purchase Olay Regenerist
1000 Bonus optimum when you purchase Always Infinity products
1000 bonus when you buy Gillette High Performance shampoos
1000 bonus when you buy Covergirl Exact Eyelights
5000 when you buy Crest Whitestrips
1200 Febreeze Home Collection
800 Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly
2000 Olay Purifying Mud Lather Cleanser

Now, in regards to these coupons, from perusing the net, I have read that mistakes were made on some of the coupons when they were put online.
For example, the Tousle Me Softly says it is worth 800, but people have been getting 2000 pts instead of the 800.
The Always Infinity coupon says 1000 bonus points, but I read that someone received 5000 points for it.
The Febreze Home Collection says 1200 bonus points, but it actually gives you 5000.

On the negative side, the Olay Regenerist and Crest Whitestrips say 5000, but they are only computing as 1000 and 1200.

So try them if you want.  I have not used these yet, so I cannot say if the error has been corrected or not.  So please use them only if you need the product, in case they have been corrected.  Please do not come back on here mad at me if the points are corrected.  Try at your own risk.  lol.

There is also a coupon that is printable to save $5 off any Motrin product.  It expires February 28, 2010.  I understand that Shoppers Drug Mart has these on sale for 4.99.  If you have access to this coupon (I unfortunately did not save it) and your Shoppers lets you use printables, then get yourself some free Motrin and you will also get the regular bonus points with this.

If anyone saved this coupon in a PDF format, would you be kind enough to post it on here.

That is all I can think of for now.  If anyone else has any ideas or knows of any bonuses to get Optimum points before the weekend, let us know.

COUPONS

Get your coupons out and ready to go, everyone.  There seem to be some great sales to use your coupons with this week.  When I see sales like this, I swear it is better than sex.  Lol.  Anyway, onto the sales:

forum_629.gifPurex laundry detergent is on sale for 3.99.  If you have any $1 of coupons, use them and pay 2.99.

This one I am excited about.  The Gillette and the Venus gift packs are on sale for 4.99.  Use those $4 off coupon and pay only .99 cents for the gift packs.  It looks like the gift packs contain two shaving gels and a razor.  Awesome deal.

The Glade Home Fragrance Collection is on sale also.  It says starting at 2.99.  Now I am not sure what the 2.99 product would be, but whatever it is, if you use the save $2 on any Glade product, pay only .99 cents for the product.  Whatever it may be.
I am hoping to get up early tomorrow morning and check all this out before i go to my Cribbage tournament.

Shreddies are on sale for 2.49.  Use the save .75 cents coupons and pay 1.74

Honey Bunches of Oats are on sale for 2.49.  Use the save $1 coupon from save.ca and pay 1.49

Garden Cocktail is on sale for .99 cents.  Use the save .50 cents coupons and pay .49 cents

forum_594.gifArm & Hammer laundry detergent is on sale for 2.97.  Use $1 off coupons that are out there and pay only 1.97.
I have never used this so not sure how good it is.   Anyone else use this stuff, can you let us know if it does a good job.

The Glade Sense and Spray is on sale for 6.79.   But we know it usually goes on sale for 4.99.  So if you want you could use your save $5 coupons on this, but most of your probably took advantage of the 4.99 sales last week.

forum_762.gifThey have a bunch of the Glade products on sale from 4.49 to 9.99.  4.49 being the Glade jar candle and 9.99 being the 4 pack candles and 4 pk plug-ins.  Might be worth it if you use the save $2 on any Glade product and then use a buy 1 get 1 free for the second product.

forum_1303.gifHere too the 4 pk of Glade candles are on sale for 9.99, if you want to use your save $2 coupons and then a B1G1 free.

forum_640.gifStouffers Panini are on sale for 2.99 each.   Use the save $1 coupon that was found in the stores and pay 1.99

Hamburger Helper is on sale for 1.69.  I know there is a coupon out there to save 1.50.  I have one of them.  Unfortunately, I am not sure where to get them.  I got mine in a trade.  Pay only .19 cents for the Helper.

Chunky Soup is on sale for 1.99.  Use the buy 3 and get 1 free coupons.

forum_645.gifClover Leaf White Albacore Tuna is on sale for 1.87.  Use the coupons that were found in the little booklets save $1 when you buy 2 and pay only 1.37each.  I will be stocking up on these.

Another great deal I am looking forward to, Glade Fragrance Collection Reed Diffusers and Multiwick candles are on sale for $5.  Use the $4 off coupon that was in the Shop n Save, I believe, and pay only $1.  Use a B1G1 free coupon and get 2 for .50 cents each.
When I finish this blog, I am heading out over there.  I am not waiting for them to sell out this time.

Chunky Soup - $2.  Use the B3G1 free coupons.

The Gillette shaving foam is on sale for 1.99.  You can use the buy any 3 Gillette products and save $5 and pay .33 cents each.

forum_628.gifThe Herbal Essences Shampoo is on sale for $2.  Jaykayell mentioned that you can use a save $1 coupon and pay only $1.
I am not sure if these are save.ca coupons or instore coupons.  Can anyone advise?

thumb_32586_1258555060.jpgThe Janes Pub Style Chicken Breast Strips are on sale for 4.97.  This is a great price, but if you have the $1 off coupons that were floating around out there, it makes it a better deal.

The Folgers ground coffee is on sale for 2.97.  If you hve the save $2 coupons that were found in the coupon booklets found in the stores, pay .97 cents

Well, I am outta here and heading to Zellers before the after work crowd goes in and takes all my Glade.

If I missed anything, which i am sure I did, please post and let us know the deal.  Or if you see an in store deal not posted in the flyer, let us know that deal too

LMAO........speak for yourself I love my coupons/sales but.........well.......ha ha!

Wowee! Amazing deals this week! Can't wait to plow through my coupons Thanks so much Kim!

Just a heads up....the 20x the points at Shoppers is on Saturday only and the deal on the razors/shave gel is on Sunday/Monday so you can't take advantage of both at the same time

Courtreporter....as far as I know the only save $1 coupon for Herbal Essences is a Shoppers Drug Mart coupon (so can't use it at Wal-Mart). The only way I know of that you can get the Herbal Essences shampoo or conditioner for $1 each is to use a b1g1 coupon from save.ca.

Handler, are you sure the razors/shave gel deal is only sunday & monday???  It doesn't say that on the back page of the flyer.   The front page of the flyer says "more hot deals on the back" but I wasn't sure if the 2 days only applied to what was on the back page of the flyer but I didn't think was date restriction on back page items.

LOL.  No, grasshopper, you are looking at the wrong razors.  I am talking about the gift set.  Here is the flyer page it is on.  Look at the top of the page, upper right hand corner.

Ah, but why would you buy it at Lawtons when you could buy 13 of them at SDM and get 20x the points = 51.87 * 10 * 20 = 10,374 points = (10,374/75,000)*150 = $20.75 worth of free stuff at SDM when you redeem your points at the 75,000 point level?  If you shop on a bonus redemption day that number goes up even further ($27.67 in Ontario and Quebec, $23.51 elsewhere I believe)

Ok, I guess maybe you wouldn't want 13 bottles of Purex all at once and you might not have 13 coupons either ... but still a good deal anyway.

It is always good to let folks know where the sales are at all stores.  That is how PN members help each other so that we don't miss deals.  This info can be useful especially if one store is sold out or there are limits (ie Shoppers has limit of 4 so you would have to make several trips or shop at different stores if you wanted to stock up beyond that but Lawton's has no limit).   The sale at Shoppers Drug Mart on the Purex is on Sunday and Monday only but the 20x points is on Saturday only so you wouldn't get the extra points.
